Jerry Douglas is a hoot, but the character is now more of a characature than a character. But since I have missed seeing him, I tolerate the silliness of Alistair. I personally don't see the need for Alistair at all. I know TIIC are trying to somehow correct LML's huge error in killing off John Abbott but they're just making things worse by bringing Alistair on. Some mistakes we have to live with; killing off John Abbott is one of them.
