OMG< yes, I remember him as Lance Prentice. I am convinced like Ron Moss he got that part expressly for his looks and for no other reason. I am glad to see so many agree with me that he is the worst actor of them all. Of course he and Ron Moss run neck and neck for me though. He's really bad as well.

I think John McCook gives that same line delivery that William Shatner used to when he portrayed Captain Kirk on Star Trek in th 60s. The difference is that William Shatner has gotten much better and I friggin' LOVE him as Denny Crane on Boston Legal - he's great!

He really is the WORST actor I've ever seen. Add on top of that his unfortunate resemblence to Daffy Duck and you have to wonder HOW in the world did that man become a romantic soap opera star?

But I for one really do want to see DR. Bridget on the job here. Let's pray she kills him off before he wakes up.

Sorry folks, but I think that John McCook is one of the worst actors that daytime TV has ever seen. It's really evident whenever he's in a scene with Susan Flannery, who gives an Emmy-winning performance even when she's sitting on the couch drinking a cup of coffee.

John McCook's ineptness as an actor has ruined many a high-powered scene for me. His facial expressions are laughable and sometimes detract from the seriousness of the scene he's in. Ditto his...
