Samantha, I am guessing that you have not watched Y&R from the beginning. When Nikki was a teen she was anything but a rich snob. She has quite the life
before she met Victor. She was even involved in a religious cult and was "saved" from Paul, whom she was dating. Victor "trained" her to
become the woman she is now.

I disagree with the statement that Victor trained her to become the woman she is now. I watched the show from the beginning and Nikki wanted to better herself
and over time she not only did that but started looking down on other people. All Victor did was try to give her everything she wanted, even before she asked.
Sure he made mistakes but so has she. Only Nikki never acknowledges her mistakes. It's too easy to say "It is Victor's fault."
I mean, look at what has happened lately. She has the affair FIRST while still married, flaunts her relationship while MARRIED but not once did she ever take a look at her life and see what maybe she did wrong. She deserved her low rent wedding and every calamity that will happen afterward.

portero, I've been watching Y&R since day one and I know exactly what Nikki's done and exactly what she IS.
When she married Victor and fell into the lap of luxury, she could have become a great lady. But she didn't She became a spoiled little nouveau riche SNOB who looked down her upturned nose at everyone. Perfect example - remember when Nick first started dating Sharon and Nikki considered her and her mother to be beneath them? Nikki has had YEARS to shed her childishness and become a mature woman but apparently, she's incapable. I have no pity for her AT ALL. She's had every thing given to her by Victor Newman and look at her NOW. And it's all her own doing. All her own folly. All her own stupidity. |

Yeah, Nikki kept trying to get Nick to date that other girl with the upper middle class background. She considered Sharon trailer trash before she knew that
