If anyone else in that family was dying, would they be giving her a "prom?"

I know they're all fixated on the fact that Katie's a kid but, why her high school prom? Katie isn't that much of a girlie girl. Why would she
care about playing dress up on what might be her last night on Earth?
Maybe she would have preferred to drink beer and watch ESPN.
So if she doesn't die right after this prom, what high school fantasy will Nick and the girls arrange for Katie next? Making 16000 on the SAT?

I am ILL trying to watch this Kicky SL. It's SO BAD! What a waste of a SL. I am just NOT feelin HTom as Katie at all and now they make it even less
watchable.

I know it Sue, By the time Nick and Katie finally do get together, we'll all be so sick of their silliness we won't be able to stand them.
What a goofball Nick is!! Decked out in his prom attire. I swear to God if he starts singing, I'm gonna hurl! I mean, are they trying to KILL Katie? Hasten her demise? Why doesn't somebody kill Bridget? Is that too much to ask?? This whole prom thing is so contrived and ridiculous. I can't believe this soap managed to present those great episodes that week Storm killed himself. What happened? Did they have some temporary writers drop by that know how to WRITE?? Well, I hope Katie's high school fantasy doesn't end with the prom. Maybe they can stage her graduation with KATIE giving the valedictorian speech. |

The Storm's Suicide storyline was so damn great - the first time this show ever made me shed a tear. And now we have - this. Honestly, I think I have whiplash. I think Heather Tom is a great actress so watching her portray the poorly-written Katie Logan is just plain torture. I know what Heather Tom is capable of and this role simply doesn't showcase her vast talent. I'd love to see her reprise the role of Victoria Newman.

I wouldn love to see Thorne going all out to give Katie a wonderful evening! It would be romantic and sweet and lovely. Unlike this crap with Nick who is just doing it cause his boss lady Brooke and her stupid daughter said so. Thorne and Katie together would have been SO MUCH BETTER. |

Was Katie actually together with Thorne before? And then: Wow, do you guys really want to see another actress as Katie? Or have her character leave altogether? Quite honestly, I think Heather Tom is ten times more watchable than these fake blondies and barbie women the show seems to be so fond of. HT is a pretty good actress IMO and her rather natural look is a nice change. Edit: Oh and I forgot. This Prom idea seems pretty idiotic to me as well. I mean, Nick should be -what? In his forties now? Isn´t the whole thing a bit on the embarassing site? And it is kind of mind-boggling to imagine the one thing that would make Katie happy before she dies is a great Prom. Isn´t that eh a bit lame?

It's Nick I can't stand, not Katie. I do think that Heather Tom is a much more capable actress than she's been allowed to be so far on B&B and I would rather see her on Y&R as Victoria Newman but even so I'm okay with her being on B&B. I just can't deal with Popeye the Sailor Man - can't stand him.

It's perposterous that Nick and Katie be a couple. LORD does he have to do ALL the Logans? He missed Storm, I'm afraid. Well, I think Nick is sweet and apparently it meant a lot to Katie that they have a "prom." (BTW...she looked beautiful in her Forrester dress) I
have seen a lot worse on this soap than Nick and Katie being sappy together. In Nick's defense, Bridget all but threw herself at him AGAIN and
conveniently didn't have a place to stay. Bridget knew there was "something" between Nick and Katie, and like the true martyr she is, she is
letting them have time together. She deserves all the misery life dishes her way (except for Brooke sleeping with Deacon. She didn't deserve that.)
So if Nick and Katie are happy. Teach is happy too! Go ahead, throw tomatoes...................... |

Teach, you know I liked JW when he first came on the show - BEFORE he got bit by the Cobra Woman.
Since then it's like his brain has turned to silly putty. I wouldn't mind seein gNick and Katie together if they'd go ahead and get her healed and stop all this melodrama about her dying. It shouldn't take Katie almost dying to make Nick appreciate her and love her. But I'm sure that's the way Bridget AND Brooke will see it when Nick chooses to be with Katie over either of them. And THAT is a JW scene I'm really looking forward to - the day he tells Brooke and her daughter to get OUT. I just wonder if he really will do that or if he'll still cling to Brooke no matter which other woman he promises to love. |

nice change.
I am not so overly fond of the Katie dying scenario. I really think these two could do with some more passion and I guess unless she is recovered, there won´t be much of that. I suppose I haven´t seen enough of Nick over the years to understand the strong dislike. I saw bits of his story with Brooke and Bridget before and both just bored me out of my skull. I didn´t watch the show for years. What I don´t like about Katie and Nick so far is that it seems she is much in love with him and what he feels isn´t entirely clear. At the moment it seems like a mix of friendship, compassion, pity and tenderness. I am sure he cares about her, but I am not sure he loves her. Yet. I´d really like to see him display some true and honest emotion without it looking like he is doing his good deed of the week stuff. |

Nick's main problem is he LIES.
He rofesses his love for other women, the whole time knowing tha the doesn't love them. He loves Brooke and remains at her beck and call. No matter who he is currently involved with or even married to, if Brooke wiggles her hips at him, he's in a lip lock and pelvis grind with her before you can blink. He needs to stop promising to love and honor other women when he knows it's a lie when he takes the vow. That's why I have a lot of apprehension about Nick and Katie. Ridge is 100% correct when he says Nick is trouble. |

I don't know - it seems to me that TIIC plan to have Brooke bouncing back and forth between Ridge and Nick until one of these three leaves the show.
I really don't know how much longer KKL can continue playing the wanton sex-kitten that all men on the planet can't resist. While I think KKL is absolutely gorgeous and is aging very well, she will be 47 next month. How much longer does she want to continue to play these immature and ridiculous storylines? When is Brooke Logan going to grow up? I think that KKL is wondering this, too; the rape storyline was her idea. It might have been a good one if it wasn't so plot driven and had a lasting effect on the character. Instead, it seems as though Brooke has moved right on and we don't really hear her talking about this anymore and it made Stephanie look like a horrible monster. This was poorly done but I think it was done simply to hush KKL up. I don't think that Brad Bell has any intention of allowing Brooke Logan to become a compelling character; she'll be running around in skimpy underwear when she's 87, still bouncing back and forth between the geriatric Ridge and Nick.

I suppose the only thing that gives me hope that at one point at least Nick can resist the Brooke drug is that the show with Brooke and Ridge as the centre
existed before he came on. And obviously did well for many years. So technically I don´t think they really need to keep this triangle up forever.

I really like Jack Wagner, I think he is a good soap actor, but if
he goes back to Brooke and her wiggling hips, I am out. I always hated them together, he was such a jerk and she such a whiny puddle of drama it was
disgusting.
