Oh I would want Jess to come to B&B as Jill Abbott. No need to recast her as anyone else.
They'd have to work her in to the s/l somehow. Maybe she could be the woman who finally tags and bags old Ridge. Also, doesn't Jill have a kid or two around? They could come on B&B as well.

The only other way I can think of to mitigate Steph's loss would be to bring on TA DA! Heather Locklear to be Brooke's new nemesis!

Tha might fill in the big gap Steph's absence will leave to a degree.

Brooke's got to have someone to fight with and don't see Hunter carrying the whole burden alone.

Yeah, Heathe would be a great Susan Flannery replacement.

Really, they can't ever replace Susan. But they're going to have to do something to fill in that huge talent gap she'll leave behind.

vicgirl, I don't think Brooke can be the new Stephanie either. Brooke needs to be Brooke and not try to morph into some quasi-matriarch. We need Brooke bed hoppin' and home wreckin'. I didn't like it recently when she was chasing behind Rick, trying to tell him who he should sleep with. She jus tdoesn't have the moral authority to swing that kind of bat without looking like a totaly hypocrite.

I'm sure KKL is going to miss her great teacher and mentor when she leaves but, let's hope some of the lessons she learned from her have really stuck and we'll see the actress bloom. I mean, she's got to be good for something more than just "dressing it up and taking it out" - to quote her muddle headed soulmate.

I still think they need a big named presence to help get us over the shock of Susan's departure. Maybe Diahann Carroll could play marcus' paternal grandma. I bet she'd have old eric's head spinnin'! He'd be like "Donna WHO?" He might even be like "BROOKE WHO?"

Peri, can you imagine the way Jill would roll her eyes at eric's ongoing advancement of all THINGS Logan at FC?

I really think Jill Abbott would be a kick ass addition to this show. She's got that take no prisoners Y&R bitchiness that would catapult her straight to the top - God knows none of those weak men could handle her. Man she's used to rolling with TGVN. She'd blow Ridge and eric away like lint.

But you're right, it wouldn't be enough for Heather's character to just be beautiful. No, she'd need that edge that Taylor never had. The ability to spot a threat from another beautiful woman and DEAL with her - by any means necessary.
