Today.
She looked mature and she took a stand and stood behing her man Ridge. I was pleased not to see any of that behind the back crap and scheming. To day was a good for Brooke and me Guiding Light Central   
Proud to be one of Guy's Gal's You're just jealous because the voices only talk to me  They call it PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken. 
I smile because I don't know what the hell is going on

Me too. She has shown she can do more than bed hop and be believable like when Storm died, and I sincerely hope the writers build on this instead of the other.
As a mature woman, in my opinion, it is unseemly for them to have her chasing after guy after guy talking about fantasyland destiny.

Samantha, well said. It's jut how I feel, but I also have to say I liked Brooke yesterday as well. She showed real maturity for once. Don't see that
very often there. Was nice to see.

Brooke to me was being a big hypocrite
it was ok when she was wiggling thru FC and tried to destroy the class and dignity of FC....but now that her sister is doing it, she wants to look down on her. but it was refreshing for once not to see her crying, groveling or begging |

If anyone destroyed the class and dignity of Forrester Creation, it was the Forresters - all of them, even blessed Thorne has had his sweet little, uh...thing
in the pot.

Don't think so Vic Girl, none of the Forresters were in the tabloids before Brooke came along walking the stage in her undies, sleeping with father and
son, and creating all the WTD's stories first.
and.......this whole thing about their wedding and being the ones to bring stability back to FC....PUHLEEZE how long have Ridge and Brooke stayed married ANYTIME they've ever been married in the past? thier love life, weddings and so on has zero credibility in the eyes of the fashion world becuase everyone knows about her ins and outs with Ridge and Nick. |

The press loves it when Brooke and Ridge are together, if for no other reason than the anticipation of great stories down the line.
I will accept your premise that none of the Forresters had any scandals until Brooke (which isn' t true), then it would follow that the Forresters are a bunch of spineless wimps with no moral center, to allow one woman to come in and create crisis after crisis in this , your words, "the class and dignity of FC" empire. I don't see much class and dignity in not having a backbone and stooping to the level of your adversary for whatever reason The old saying of it takes two to tango is so true. If they were not willing to go along there would be no black marks on their class and dignity. You can't blame the farce of these relationships all on Brooke

Neither eric, Brooke nor Ridge are paragons of virture. They've each had a hand in creating scandals over theyears that threatened the company.
It is hypocritical of Ridge & Brooke to criticize Donna but the thing they have that she doesn't have is they've paid their dues at Forrester Creations. Ridge has worked there his entire adult life and Brooke (even though it pains me to admit it) has made contributions tha tbrought huge profits to the company over the years. Donna hasn't done jack crap except keep eric happy in BED. The thought of her having any say so in the running of the company is not only insulting to Thorne, Ridge, Felicia and Brooke - it's downright stupid. What was she up until few months ago? A waittress?!? Maybe the best thing for Ridge and Brooke to do is to go on out there and start their own company. I'm sure Stephanie would be more than happy to join forces with them, financially. Thorne and Felicia, too. Then they could BURY eric and Donna. |

This whole sl has gone from unbelievable to ridiculous. You made great points Sam. What the heck does Donna know about running a company? Doesn't know
squat!! The overkill IMO by Ridge, Felicia and company ruined the outrage for me about Donna's position. I am so disgusted by Felicia I could puke.

I have to agree with Vicgirl on this. I ordinarily Adore Fleabag, but she's got even me cursing her right now. I do think at this juncture that Brooke and
Ridge have worked through the scandalous crap with the press and they've built a rapport with them and they have finally gained respect and adoration from
the press. I don't see Brooke as being hypocritical about this towards Donna at all. Brooke has put her time in and has earned the right to help run
things. I think it's a good idea. Grant it, Brooke didn't have experience when she took over as CEO, but she got control of the company and with
Eric's help, she learned the ropes and was a good CEO. I can fault her for many things, but the company was profitable during her reign. Fair is fair. I
have to give her the due she's earned. She also put up her home and all that she had to help Eric reestablish himself with the boutiques. I admired her for
that. SO, you see, even though I totally dislike her, I can be impartial at times. lol I know not often, but this is one time I am on her side but I have a
sneaking suspicion that Eric will put Donna and Marcus in charge to spite his kids! This might actually get interesting.

I never said that Brooke nor Ridge didn't contibute to the success of Forrester, heck, if we want to get down to it, without Thorne, Felicia, Steph, Ridge and Brooke, Eric would not having a company to call his own.....they've all made contributions, that I'm not taking away from any of them, including Ridge and Brooke my thing is, they have had how many wedding? they have broken up how many times? and just recently, Brooke was chasing another woman's child she gave birth too, in and out of courts, and in and out of Nick's home, you don't think that hit the papers....plus all of the other trash.... My thing is Brooke was Donna at one point, she didn't show up knowing about fashion, she was a chemist.....Ridge even told her that a monkey could run the company with him and Eric as designers when Conner got her the positon of CEO....So lets not act like Brooke never wore Donna's shoes.....and about the press loving them and they can put FC back on the map and so on....it's a crock of bull, becuase if that was the case, when Brooke returned to FC there should have been a big buzz..... on another note too.....Eric killed his own clientale by marrying the woman whos brother almost killed Stephanie. and VicGirl...not gonna argue you down over this, but no scandals hit the papers before Brooke came along and that's the truth! |

Logan Loather, a well thought out, post and while I have to agree with a lot of it, I still believe at THIS juncture in all of their lives, Brooke and Ridge
are the best choice out of them all to bring some civility back to FC. I have to agree with the rest of it though. IF Eric were not incapacitated right now,
I'd maybe think he should work with Donna if he wanted her to be a partner in the business. That I would feel was his right, but he's out for the count
and I still think given all of that they are the best choice.
