worse recast ever, even worse than the last Billy!
I may have taken to her if they had not try to put her in as CC...as a new character, I think I could have accepted her.

What I don't understand is why the writers will not cater to public opinion re: this unnecessary recast of Colleen, but they seem to be bending over
backwards to get rid of David and Sabrina - both of which who were growing on me considerably. Makes absolutely no sense.
It appears that TIIC do not know what to really do with NuColleen either. It appears she is receiving less and less screentime than her predecessor - which is quite fine by me, but it more than hammers home the point that the recast was NOT a good idea. I sure hope Adrienne is either brought back or that TS is let go. But I will not hold my breath...

Kaygee: it is mystifying why TS endures while Raya Meddine and the wonderful Vincent Irizarrry have been given their pink slips.
I don't know the real reason that Adrianne Leon was fired and probably never will but I have some theories: 1. AL was gaining weight and TIIC didn't like it. Personally, I don't think this is reason because AL herself said in an interview that LML wanted her to keep the weight on that she had gained when she took steriods to combat severe allergies. A weight storyline was planned for Colleen but never panned out. AL asked LML if it was okay if she lost the weight but LML asked her to keep it on. And then AL was fired. 2. TS had a music recording contract with Sony. It had some moderate success in Australia but Sony wasn't happy so they ultimately decided to dump her from their label. Sony needed to fulfill their contractual obligation to TS so they fired AL and put TS in her place. 3. Sony/CBS wants to increase the ratings in the Australian market so they brought on TS because she's supposedly quite popular Down Under. TIIC are hoping that TS will draw in more Aussie viewers. I have no idea whether or not that has actually happened but what with her limited screen time, I would think that the Aussies will eventually question that. I do think that TS's limited screentime is due to the unexpected backlash Sony/CBS has received by firing AL, an American actress who was doing a superb job in the role of Colleen, and replaced her with an Australian actress who doesn't fit in the role and is having a devil of a time completely covering up her Australian accent. AL has a bigger fan base than Sony/CBS realized and now they're somewhat caught off guard. Everytime Colleen appears on screen, posters on various message boards post yet again that they don't care for TS in the role of Colleen. I really think that TS endures because Sony/CBS are afraid of insulting their Aussie audience for fear of many of them tuning out because their countryperson was fired. So, they keep her around and give her a few things to do while they're waiting for her 3 year contract to expire.

To be fair, I think that TS was actually purposely singing badly - she really doesn't sing that badly in real life. But I'll bet it's frustrating
to her NOT to be able to belt out a few songs when Devon and Little Orphan Shut The Hell Up are just a singing their brains out on practically a daily basis.
Quite frankly, I half expected Colleen to sing quite well and for her to tell Daniel that she's been practicing really hard since the last time she sang
karaoke. TIIC seem to want to hang on to this girl for some reason; I figured they'd let her sing just like they've let everyone else sing.
