See, that's the thing that is the most galling to me about Nikki and her spawn - they talk about Victor like he's the devil incarnate but they don't ever get mad or offended enough that they walk away from his MONEY.

And YES (great point) the fact that Nick would marry that horrible Phyllis does speak volumes about his total lack of character. The woman is a walking rap sheet. It always makes me laugh when she tries to find fault with SHARON! Hell, if there was any justice, Phyllis would be serving back to back sentences for causing Dru's death and blackmailing Brad and Sharon.
Not to mention all the other sorry crap she's done.

Alice Johnson is a big step up from Phyllis. Cleo Vaneta is a big step up from Phyllis.

It is mind blowing that Victoria and Nick don't recognize what a truly wonderful father they have. I think it's like Adam said to Nick "You are your mother's son." Yeah, Truly the one salient feature about Nikki and her kids (besides the whining) is their ingratitude. The man has given them everything, including his UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, but it's never enough.
It's no wonder Victor has to freaking leave town to get away from them all. The question is, why does he ever go back?
I swear I wish he'd disown them all. Cut out the trust funds, evict them from his property - just cut them completely loose from his bank account.

Maybe then Victoria and Nick would understand what he's been trying to tell them all these years.

portero, you're really grasping at straws bringing up that Victor kiss when you attack Sharon. You'd think she'd gone out and had SEX WITH HIM IN THE BARN or something.

I don't think any of us are saying Sharon is perfect. She's very flawed and DAMAGED psychologically - mostly at the hands of Nick Newman, his mother and his sister. Sharon went away for a year because she had been driven almost insane by those people. It was obvious that she needed professional help but Nick and his shrewish mommy and sister just could not resist the chance to kick her when she was down. And keep right on kicking her. WHY didn't Nick go look for her? WHY didn't he call in the FBI the way he has to find Victor now? Why didn't he hire Paul Williams or somebody to search for Sharon? Didn't he care that his wife was out there somewhere alone and mentally unstable? I guess he was too busy pouting - since that's what he does best.

It's not like their own behavior has been any better than Sharon's over the years - talk about people in glass houses.

Nick Newman set the standard the first time he cheated on Sharon with Grace Truner. Remember? He was SO horny that he couldn't wait one day for his wife to join him at the hotel so he had to jump Grace's bones. It didn't matter to Nick that Sharon was home taking care of sick little Noah. Remember, Sharon was so upset when she found out she walked into traffic and got hit by a car? But I guess according to the Newmans THAT was her fault, too.

Sharon left a man for dead - you mean Cameron? The one who was attempting to brutally rape her? I agree, she should never have left him for dead. She should have made SURE he was dead by tying him to her car bumper and dragging him up and down Main Street for a few hours.

And as for her little one night stand with Brad - she paid for it. Didn't she get knocked off the side of a freaking mountain and fall into a river because of that ONE indiscretion?

I'm sorry but when you add up the tally sheets, Phyllis is far more evil than Sharon has ever been or ever could be. Sharon has had affairs yes, but normally it was out of hurt, insecurity and the need to be loved because her brute of a husband treated her like dirt. PHYLLIS has consciously, knowingly planned and set out to hurt people.
There is a big difference.
