Hey Folks!!!
Yesterday I became a grandmother for the first time when my son's girlfriend gave birth to their first (and hopefully last for a while!) child. Her name is Alexa Nichole and she weighed in at 6 lbs, 11 oz and she's 19 inches long. And, of course, she is absolutely beautiful! Mom, Dad and baby are all doing well.
Both my son and his girlfriend are 19 years old - both too young to be procreating IMO but when passion takes over and you don't use birth control babies get born and that's what we have here. Hopefully, yesterday's festivities were enough to convince Melissa and Spencer that birth control is your friend!
Of course, I've got pictures to post but haven't had a chance to upload them yet; I'm hoping to be able to do that tomorrow.
