That made me laugh.The gown was lovely on her and very tasteful and her arms are one of her greatest assets according to the top fashion critics and designer.The gown was designed to show off her beautiful firm arms! Guess fashion IS a mixed bag. For the most part I think she dresses very well. I did not care for the dress and coat she wore on inaugration day though. It was too matronly for her age and the color was just off on her skin. I hated the color mostly on her. I think it's the only thing I"ve seen her wear that made me go EWWW! sue

Hyperbole, I know. And we don't have to like everything she wears. But I like that she wears contemporary styles. I thought her inaugural gown was pretty, but I agree that a another color would suit her. The outfit with the shoes and gloves and everything together was pretty neat, but not as flattering as it could have been. I would have liked to have seen her in a rich color for her ball gown, too. I don't envy any of the first ladies being n the spotlight like that. Crew so they are not out of reach for the average woman. Did y'all check out the beaded cardigan she wore in London? Very pretty - J. Crew said it sold out quick!
