and isn't Brooke's reaction odd? When Bridget and Rick make these god awful point about what a horrible mother Brooke has been to Bridget, Brooke just
kinda blinks and then says something robotic like "I just don't want to see Bridget getting hurt again."
Hey Brooke - if Bridget does get hurt again, you just have to make sure YOU aren't the reason.
But you know, the fact that Brooke would actually compete with Bridget for a man at ALL proves that Brooke is capable of anything.

DAZE that's the truth.
I mean, I know we all want to believe that our mothers love us and will treat us right but, how many times is Bridget willing to tempt fate and risk having her heart ripped out by Mommy Brooke? I wouldn't bring a man within 50 yards of her if I was Bridget and I sho wouldn't go back after that slimey Sea Dog Nick. He's already proven that he's more than happy to bide his time with other women while he patiently waits for his DESTINY to want him again. |

Sam I have to agree with you. This is the one thing I will not tolerate this character doing again. I have little respect for Bridget but that isn't the point. It is perverted thinking to go in this direction again. But in Brooke's defense, I believe she does want what is best for her kids

What is she thinking? Going after a man who clearly loves himself first and then Brooke and then Jack Shame on you Nick for hurting her the first time, but shame on Bridgette for letting it happen again. I think Nick is turning out to be the biggest hobag and I think he want to the Logan gene pool as well. Katie will be next and then watch out Donna! |

I used to be such a big fan of Nick but the writers have totally destroyed him. It looks as though he is heading toward Katie now which in a wierd way may be
kind of fun because it seems her character is the one best suited for him. But if he does, it is just going to look sleazy. To sleep with Bridget and then go
after Katie? No way is that going over well. They need more men on this show. Ridge and Nick's little peters are wearing out with all the Logan women. This

Well...here I am the one of the few Brooke lovers left in this world...and I understand where y'all are coming from. In some aspects I agree...she has no
business becoming involved with Nick ~ if she does find her way back to Nick (again), I will definitely be giving up, after 20 years of waiting for her to
marry Ridge and stay in that wedded bliss era of a year or thereabouts.
However, I do have to say...that as a mother, if my daughter had her heart set on a man (especially an ex-husband who treated her like dirt during the first marriage), who had admitted to me that he had feelings for anyone (even if it was myself) other than my daughter, I would do all I could to try and protect my daughter...especially if she had been down that road before. So, I understand where Brooke is coming from...I don't take it that she is motivated by a desire to keep Ridge and Nick...I wish she was a tad bit more emphatic about not wanting to be with Nick, but she has said it, and I have to hope that she will (the writers will) finally allow all of us Brooke & Ridge fans a few months of happiness!

I would agree that Brooke is motivated by sheer concern for Bridget if it hadn't been for the many recent times that she has told Nick that she loves
him and that she's torn between her love for him and Ridge.

Memmathis, i agree. As a "normal" mother, that would be the right thing to do. Try to protect your daughter from pain. We all do it, don't we?
But brooke? Brooke knows nothing about being concerned for others. She has proven that over and over again. In brooke's mind, the world revolves around
brooke. Everyone else are just characters in her little world. I used to feel differently. But i can't any longer. Like SAMANTHA said, even when talking to
nick, brooke wouldn't be clear. In fact, she was anything but. "I'll always love you, too nick!!" GMAB!!! Yeah, that's one sure way to
let the guy know you're not interested. And brooke did conveniently leave out the part about loving ridge with all her heart, and him being her true
destiny, in that conversation with nick.
Nope, i can't believe anything but brooke being all about brooke. No matter what. And even if a miracle truly did happen, and brooke finally showed true love and concern for someone other than herself? I wouldn't believe it. Her character is too far gone.
